Shaggy's Pensacola Beach

Shaggy’s did not disappoint. The fried green tomatoes were the star of the table — thinly sliced, perfectly seasoned, and fried to a golden crisp that gave way to a tender, slightly tangy bite inside. The crunch-to-soft ratio was spot on, and every bite was full of flavor, not greasy at all. You can tell they were cooked fresh and with care. If you love classic Southern flavors done right, these fried green tomatoes are an absolute must-order. I’d come back for these alone — that’s how good they were.

Made sure allergies were of top priority please let them know!!! Liv our hostess was the mostest and Meagan was a bit shy at our craziness by the time food was quickly served Meagan knew it would be a fun night. Highly recommend plus in everything.

We were in Pensacola for lunch and, based on good reviews, decided to try Shaggy's. It took about 15-20 minutes to get a table and be seated. Our server Zoey greeted us with the menus. We ordered Coke and Water without ice for drinks. After reviewing the menu, we ordered the Coconut Shrimp Platter, a side of Mac and cheese with lobster, Sauteed Crab Claws, Chicken Wings, and a Chicken Sandwich. Our lunch order came out quickly, in about 10-15 minutes. We both really enjoyed the Sauteed Crab Claws. It was our first time trying crab claws, and we enjoyed them. Our toddler, too, thoroughly enjoyed his Mac and Cheese with lobster, making it a great lunch option for him. We also enjoyed the other lunch options, and it was a great spot for lunch with beach views.

Great place with amazing seafood! The appetizer Seafood Fries was a huge portion, topped with shrimp and served with a delicious sauce. One of the highlights was the Crab Stuffed Flounder — absolutely outstanding. We also tried the Captain’s Seafood Platter with shrimp, fish, and fillet — everything was fresh and flavorful. Definitely a spot I’d come back to

Food was great! We had the mahi tacos & the shrimp po boy. Both were huge portions! We also had the chicken sausage gumbo, which was delicious. There was a bus load of basketball players that arrived before us so we were a little nervous about how quickly we would be served, but it was no problem at all. They had our food out in no time. We sat outside on the patio and watched the ocean! We will definitely visit again and would highly recommend this place.

We enjoyed the food and drinks here! We got something called Beachballs which is mash potatoes in a ball with breading. Really good! The coconut shrimp was so huge you could split it with 2 people. We enjoyed the atmosphere and our server Jaylon was excellent!

Food was excellent! We shared a captains platter and side of street corn and potato bites! Delicious! I purchased the book and even got the bushwhacker pie complimentary! Our server was great with suggestions! However we had to for our water and soda 3 times! Overall great experience

Really fun place! Great service. The price and portions were fantastic! I loved their fried dill pickles and their seafood nachos were CrAzY good! Fish & chips were top notch. My friend got the seafood boil and loved it. Go here!
